Iceland

Iceland remains my top favourite European country. We spent 22 days there - besides being blown away by the many stunning waterfalls, scenery and aurora, we also took part in Iceland's réttir, an annual sheep roundup exercise. We also locked ourselves out of our vehicle and were extremely grateful for the couple who took us in for those few days (counting our blessings!). It's a beautiful place that I'll never forget and hope to return to.
